This app seems outdated and not user friendly. Need upgrade.

Right idea needs work

I like the idea of having an app that allows you to quickly and easily book hotels while tracking your rewards points but this app falls short of being quick and easy. It can be really slow to refresh especially on your account information, filling out forms isnt very mobile friendly, and you have to log in every time it doesnt even remember your ID even my bank app does that. This isnt that sensitive of information once you log in it should remember until you log out.

Very Frustrating

This app is far from user friendly and frustrating to say the least. I try and use it every few months when I forget how much easier it is to use the website than to try to use the app. I love best western, but this app makes booking frustrating and difficult.

The recent "upgrade" is BRUTAL. I cant view my reservations without the reservation number!?!? If I had the number I wouldnt need this app. USELESS.

Not bad

It has all the basic functionality it needs, but would be better if it kept you logged in to avoid entering your long member number every time. It also needs passbook compatibility.

Less than a upgrade - down grade is the reality.

This is NOT an upgrade, its a down grade. Remember me feature gone, cannot book two rooms only one at a time. Change to full web version and had sign in again. Gave up and open the IHG app and book what was needed in three minutes. If BW wants to lose customer by frustration, this is a huge success ! I agree with the other comment it doesnt remember your reservation. Too bad I can not rate it as ZERO stars or negative stars ! Maybe they find another company to rewrite the app or go back to the old version. Think I will use the IHG & Delta for ease of use. Congrats to BW with your client destroyer app.

Of little use

We fly out on Saturday, I go to check 2 reservations we made 2 months earlier, according to this app they do not exist. Great. I call Best Westerns 800 number to double check, our reservations are fine. If I can not trust this app, why have it ? The time to delete it is now.

Updates Ruined The App

There was a time when this was my go-to hotel app, but no longer. The new interface is clunky, and they removed the map feature so I can no longer know where their properties are relative to each other. Very disappointing.

Very poor upgrade

Junk all the way. Before the upgrade I could book rooms but couldnt check on my point status. Not I cant even log in

Too much work

... if you get the weird code at the end wrong, you need to do everything over. Why not use bar codes connected to Apples passbook?

Not as good as the last one

This version feels like a downgrade. It is also tiresome to have to type in my email every single time. There needs to be an option to save the email address.

well i guess if we whine enough, somebody listens. ive been playing with this latest version a bit now. looks like all my complaints have been answered. simple, easy to use. remembers my log-in (I dont have to prove that Im not a robot). be aware that when selecting a room, tapping the three little dots at the top right will reveal additional rate options such as AAA/CAA. thanks BW --- previous review ----- read the other reviews: not much to add. a very high frustration index, both on the app and on the best western web site. we used to frequent BW partly because of the ease of using this app and website. now looking for another loyalty program.

Does not work

The last version was a piece of junk, by far the worst app from the major chain hotels. This version crashed under iOS 8.4 so cannot be used at all.

Excellent update

Greatly improved interface compared to the old version. Remembers login information as well. Significant improvements everywhere

This app needs an update already

App keeps crashing. Looked for upcoming reservation and it tells me I dont have any. Tried to select the customer care button and the app shutdown, that happened to me twice already. Should have booked at their competitors hotel, at least their app works.

Should have read the Review before upgrading

Update 1 month later(sept) the new upgrade still crash( this is the only App that crash on my phone The previous version was better ( at least it was working 3.5 ),i upgraded(5.0) than it crash on IOS 8.3 on startup now i can t reserved hotel , very poor and it took them several month to produce this non sense.Delete restart same thing crash so Delete thank s but not thank s What a way to do business.
